There are dozens of technologies and hundreds of products available to the concrete industry that claim various levels of effectiveness. These may work to extend service life by being a barrier at the surface, modifying the concrete permeability, stabilizing potential degradation activities, or offering protection to the reinforcing system. All four mechanisms are addressed in MSL’s valuations.
